Best Youth Practices Videos Showcase & Competition

Background :

This year, Y-PEER Asia Pacific Center in support of partner organizations would like to invite young people, youth organizations, youth networks and others to submit their best practices to support the International Youth Day Celebration. 

The activity will provide a platform to showcase online and in-person activities and link with potential donors and partners. The best practice will receive 500 USD as a grant prize by the end of the International Youth Day Celebration.

 

Objectives :

  • To share good examples of constructive activities both online and in person.

  • To share some successful ideas that are ongoing planned to be implemented or implemented in the past.

  • To encourage young people to formulate ideas and carry out activities to advocate and educate.

  • To celebrate young people’s initiative.

 

# How to enter the competition

 

Step 1: Select any activity you, your team, or your organization have done in past or plan to do in the future or any ongoing activities.

 

Step 2: Create a  90 Seconds -300 Seconds video capturing yourself or your team member by mobile or camera explaining the activity. ( You can use creative way of showing it.)

 

Step 3: Write one paragraph about the activity.

 

Step 4: Submit the video and paragraph via email (optional are:- along with any photos, weblinks, or any related materials or information.)

 

Step 5: Once it’s approved, it will be uploaded on the www.youthday.space website and youtube which can be shared in your social media. 

*Please note the video quality should not be high quality any watchable quality. Please check sample video uploaded on the website.

 

# Who can submit 

-Any individual age 30 or below from the Asia Pacific Region. (or)

-Any organization registered and working for young people in the Asia Pacific Region. (or)

-Any youth organization, network, group, or campaign working in the Asia Pacific Region. (or)

 

# What issues can be submitted

Any issue related to young people  (i.e Environment, Climate change, Health, Migration, Education, Children and Youth, Covid19, Peace and Security,Information and Technology, any others)

 

# What Activities can be submitted

  • Anything planned or implemented 

  • Done In Local Clubs, schools or universities, NGOs, Public and other organizations.

  • Done as an individual campaign, national campaign, or international campaign

  • Any pieces of training or capacity building or anything else.

 

# How many submissions can be submitted :

Each individual, group, or organization can submit up to 3 submissions.

 

# Prizes : 500$ USD for one or more winners.

# Submission details:

The competition will be open from August 12,2021 till November 11, 2021. 

You must submit one email with the subject ‘Best Practice Video- Your Name’ to contact@youthday.space copying youthday.space@gmail.com before 11:59  time Bangkok Time on November 11, 2021.
