Youth Day Campaign 2024

Background
On the occasion of the Youth Day Regional Celebration, Y-PEER Nepal presents you the National E-course 5.0 on Sexual and Reproductive Health & Rights (SRHR), Peer Education, and Mental Health, together with its partners:  and the Youth Day Space for young people in Nepal.

This E-Course is free of cost and will run from 21st September to 21st October 2024, and the participants will be provided certificates after full completion of the course. The participants will have to make 1-2 hours of weekly commitment for the course.

  •  Only limited seats are available so we will be taking participants on a selection basis.
  •  The deadline to apply for the E-Course is 14th September 2024.

Who should join the e-course?

Any young people from the age group 15-29 years (both Y-PEER & Non Y-PEER Members)

 

When will it take place? 

It is the choice of participants to attend the offline class at their convenience and each class will be online for 11 days. 

The E-course takes about 60-90 minutes per class. There will be 11 Classes in the gap of 3 days which will be completed within two months starting from September 7,  2024, to October 26, 2024.

Where will the e-course take place?

Google Classroom will be used as the platform for the e-course (Mobile app and website).

Reward from the e-course

  • Those participants who complete 80 – 90 % of the e-course will receive a certificate of participation from Y-PEER Nepal and partners.
  • The special title will be provided to a group of participants allowing them privileges to know about the various events and activities at the National & Regional levels.
  • We will also organize a small quiz online after the sessions and after the whole class. Winners will receive a few rewards.

  • Class 4: Sexually transmitted infection & HIV

  • Class 5: Family Planning

  • Class 6: Abortion

  • Class 7: Body Shaming & Bullying 

  • Class 8: Mental Health & Well-being

  • Class 9: Comprehensive sexuality education (CSE)

  • Class 10: SRHR issues of Young Key Populations(YKPs) and LGBTIQA+

  • Class 11: Consent
